I Need Help….Not Mental Help, Halloween Costume Help?
So I am ordering a halloween costume for Maverick.
I Am going with the Tom Arma frog

But, I am unsure what size to get. I have heard they run a bit big, but Maverick runs a bit big too. He is 6 months old, 27 inches long and 22lbs. So, in clothing he wears like a 12-18 months usually.
I was thinking that if I get the 12-18 months one he *might* be able to wear it again next year. But then do I really want him to be the same thing next year? And, since this is his first halloween I sort of want his costume to fit perfectly (not all loose and hanging) so that the pictures will be good.
What should I do? Get the bigger size (12-18 months) or the smaller (6-12).
And I sort of like the skunk….which do you like better?

Wow, the baby in the skunk costume even kind of looks like your little guy, or so it seems. I personally would get the frog because it is so colorful and unique. I remember last year, I saw about a hundred kids in a skunk costume…although it IS super-cute.
If you do end up getting the larger size and it is way too big, fleecy Halloween costumes are notorious for extreme shrinking. So, you can just wash and dry it on high heat a few times. And I think we both know you are not going to be able to have the self-restraint to not get him a new costume next year, I sure wouldn’t. (P.S. Baby Land Haunted Playplace @ Oaks Park this year in Portland…super excited!)
